Banana nut bread
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- eggs - 2 item
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- stick margarine - 1 item
- soda - 1/2 tsp
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- nuts - 1 c
- plain flour - 2 c
- bananas, mashed - 3 item
How to make banana nut bread:
Cream together sugar and shortening. Add eggs and beat well. Sift dry ingredients. Add to creamed mixture alternately with bananas, blending well after each addition. Stir in nuts. Pour into 2 well-greased loaf pans (9 1/2 x 5 x 3-inch). Bake at 325° for 40 to 45 minutes or until done. Remove from pan and cool on rack.
