Banana nut bread
Ingredients/Components
- butter, softened - 1 c
- sugar - 1 c
- eggs - 2 item
- flour - 2 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- chopped walnuts - 1 c
- mashed bananas - 3 item
- sour milk - 3 Tbsp
How to make banana nut bread:
Cream the butter and sugar. Blend in beaten eggs, sour milk and bananas. Add flour, salt and soda. Blend well. Fold in walnuts. Bake in slow oven at 300° for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Check for doneness in center of loaf with toothpick. Remove from pan immediately. Makes 1 standard loaf.Recipe categories: Breads, Fruit, Yeast breads.
