Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour
- butter - 1/2 c
- nutmeg - 1 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- mashed bananas - 1 c
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- hot water 2 Tbsp - 1/8 c
How to make banana cupcakes:
Combine butter and sugar. Add beaten egg. Stir in mashed bananas. Sift dry ingredients except soda which has been dissolved in hot water. Add vanilla and nutmeg. Bake in greased muffin pan in a 375° oven for about 15 minutes. Cool on rack. Sprinkle with confectioners (10x) sugar.Recipe categories: Cakes, Cake fillings and frostings, Cupcakes.
