Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- vanilla
- milk - 2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour
- cornstarch
- egg yolks - 4 item
- heavy cream - 1 c
- bananas - 3 item
- 9-inch pie crust - 1 item
How to make banana cream pie:
Scald milk and cream. Combine flour, cornstarch, sugar and salt. Add to milk and cook until thickened, stirring constantly (up to 15 minutes). Stir a small amount into beaten egg yolks. Add yolks to milk mixture. Add vanilla. Cook a few more minutesRecipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
