Banana cream cake
Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- eggs - 2 item
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- flour - 2 c
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- shortening - 3/4 c
- mashed bananas - 1 c
- sour milk or 1/2 tsp - 4 Tbsp
How to make banana cream cake:
Cream shortening and sugar. Add unbeaten eggs, one at a time, beating thoroughly after each addition. Add bananas. Mix baking soda with sour milk and add. Fold in flour. Add nuts. Pour into greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 350° for about 50 minutes. Icing not necessary.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Low protein.
