  • flour
  • buttermilk - 1 c
  • baking powder
  • baking soda
  • Crisco oil - 3/4 c
  • bananas - 3 item

How to make banana cake:

Preheat oven to 350°. Mash bananas in small bowl with fork; set aside. In a large bowl, mix all other ingredients with mixer, then add mashed bananas. Mixture will be lumpy from bananas. Pour into greased 9 x 13-inch oblong pan and bake for 1 hour. Cool and ice with vanilla icing.
