  • margarine - 3/4 c
  • sugar
  • eggs - 2 item
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • mashed bananas - 1 c
  • buttermilk or 1/2 c - 1/2 c
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • flour plain - 2 c
  • margarine, softened
  • box 10x confectioners sugar - 1 item
  • milk - 1/8 1/4
  • lemon juice - 3 Tbsp

How to make banana cake:

Icing:1/4 c. margarine, softened1 box 10x confectioners sugar1/8 to 1/4 c. milk3 Tbsp. lemon juice Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs. Beat. Mix in bananas, milk, salt, baking powder, soda and flour. Bake 25 minutes at 350° in greased tube pan.

Icing: Cream margarine, adding sugar slowly. Use just enough milk to get right consistency. Add lemon juice. Spread on cake.
