  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • butter or margarine - 3/4 c
  • flour
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • beaten eggs - 2 item
  • sour cream or milk - 4 Tbsp
  • sugar 1/2 white, 1/2 brown
  • large mashed bananas* - 3 item

How to make banana cake:

*Overripe bananas seem to make the best cake.

Mix butter, sugar and eggs. Add bananas, vanilla and sour milk alternating with dry ingredients. Bake in moderate oven until done.
