Banana cake

Ingredients/Components

• sugar
• eggs - 3 item
• sour cream - 1/2 c
• salt - 1 tsp
• chopped nuts - 1/2 c
• flour
• butter - 2 Tbsp
• buttermilk - 2/3 c
• eggs, beaten - 2 item
• baking powder
• baking soda
• chopped walnuts - 2/3 c
• Crisco - 2/3 c
• mashed ripe bananas 3 medium
• Blend 1/2 minute on low speed, scraping the bowl constantly

How to make banana cake:

Measure all ingredients into a large bowl. Blend 1/2 minute on low speed, scraping the bowl constantly. Beat 3 minutes on high speed, scraping occasionally. Pour into greased and floured pans. Bake. Cool completely before filling with frosting. Frost with Sour Cream Filling.Sour Cream Filling:1/2 c. sugar2 Tbsp. flour2 eggs, beaten1/2 c. sour cream2 Tbsp. butter1/2 c. chopped nuts Mix sugar and flour; add eggs, cream and butter (add 1/2 teaspoon rum flavoring, if desired). Cook until thickened. Cool and fold in nuts. Spread between layers of cake. Great with Banana Cake.
