Banana bread
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- flour - 2 c
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- vegetable oil - 3/4 c
- mashed bananas 3
How to make banana bread:
Heat oven to 325°. Grease loaf pan (9 x 5 x 3-inch or 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 1/2-inch) with shortening. Mix sugar, bananas, oil and eggs in a large bowl with a wooden spoon. Stir in remaining ingredients. Pour into pan. Bake until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean, 60 to 70 minutes. Let cool 10 minutes, then loosen sides of loaf from pan and remove from pan.
