Baked spinach
Ingredients/Components
- flour - 3 Tbsp
- sage - 1 tsp
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- thyme - 1 tsp
- slices bacon, cooked - 7 item
- can spinach - 1 oz
- sweet milk or 1 large can sweetened condensed milk and rest water - 1 qt
- raw eggs - 5 item
How to make baked spinach:
Boil spinach, sage and thyme in a little water, about 5 minutes. Put in colander and drain. Make a paste with flour and a little milk. Add eggs and beat. Put in milk and spinach. Put into greased baking pan using bacon grease. Bake at 350° for 1 hour. When firm, stir a little and cook 10 more minutes.
