Ingredients/Components

  • butter - 3 Tbsp
  • lemon juice
  • pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • bread crumbs - 1 item
  • dill - 1 tsp
  • scallops - 1 lb
  • parsley, minced - 1 Tbsp
  • garlic clove, pressed - 1 item
  • Hungarian paprika - 1 item
  • medium sweet onion, minced - 1/2 item
  • medium-hot salsa optional - 1/4 c
  • dry vermouth or chicken broth - 2 Tbsp

How to make baked scallops:

Preheat oven to 400°. Coat individual ramekins with olive oil. Melt 3 tablespoons butter and mix in pepper, onion, garlic, salsa, parsley, lemon juice, dill and vermouth (or chicken broth). Stir in scallops, gently coating them well. Divide the mixture in two ramekins. Sprinkle bread crumbs and Hungarian paprika over top to taste. Bake 15 minutes.
