Baked rice pudding
Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
- raisins - 1/3 c
- white sugar - 1/3 c
- Minute rice - 3/4 c
- eggs, slightly beaten - 2 item
How to make baked rice pudding:
Combine rice, milk, sugar, salt and raisins in saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Mix eggs, vanilla and nutmeg in 1-quart casserole. Slowly stir in rice mixture and blend well. Place casserole in a pan of hot water. Bake at 375° for 25 to 30 minutes or until top is set.
