Baked potato soup
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 2 c
- sour cream - 4 oz
- salt - 3/4 tsp
- flour - 1/2 c
- margarine - 2/3 c
- chicken broth - 4 c
- shredded Cheddar cheese - 1 c
- black pepper - 1/2 tsp
- green onions, chopped - 4 item
- slices cooked bacon, crumbled - 12 item
- large Russet potatoes - 4 item
How to make baked potato soup:
Bake potatoes. Melt butter and stir in flour. Cook over medium heat for 1 minute. Gradually add broth and milk. Cook until thick and bubbly, stirring occasionally. Add salt and pepper. Scoop out potatoes and add to soup. Add bacon, onions and cheese. Heat thoroughly, then stir in the sour cream.Recipe categories: Potato, Vegetables, Soups & stews.
