  • milk - 7 c
  • sour cream - 1 c
  • butter or margarine - 2/3 c
  • flour - 2/3 c
  • salt to taste - 3/4 tsp
  • white pepper to taste - 1/4 tsp
  • bacon strips, cooked and crumbled - 4 item
  • green onions, diced - 4 item
  • large baking potatoes, baked, peeled and cubed - 4 item
  • cheese, shredded

How to make baked potato soup:

Make a roux of butter, flour and milk. Add potatoes and onions. Bring to a boil. Simmer 10 minutes. Add bacon, sour cream, cheese, salt and pepper.
