Baked potato soup
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 7 c
- sour cream - 1 c
- salt - 3/4 tsp
- all-purpose flour - 2/3 c
- butter or oleo - 2/3 c
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- green onions, sliced - 4 item
- shredded Cheddar cheese
- bacon strips, cooked and crumbled - 12 item
How to make baked potato soup:
In a large soup kettle or Dutch oven, melt butter. Stir in flour; heat until smooth. Gradually add milk, stirring constantly, until thickened. Add potatoes and onions. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat, simmer for 10 minutes. Add remaining ingredients; stir until cheese is melted. Serve immediately.
