Baked potato soup
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 7 c
- sour cream - 1 c
- flour - 1/2 c
- butter - 1/4 c
- shredded Cheddar cheese
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- bunch green onions, chopped - 1 item
- bacon, fried crisp and crumbled - 1/2 lb
- large baking potatoes - 5 item
How to make baked potato soup:
Bake potatoes until tender. Cool, peel and chop into small pieces. Melt butter in large pan and stir in flour. Slowly whisk in milk and over medium heat, bring to almost boiling. Add potatoes, onion and bacon. Stir in cheese and sour cream. Heat through until cheese is melted and soup is hot.Recipe categories: Potato, Vegetables, Soups & stews.
