Baked pork chops and stuffing



  • eggs - 2 item
  • butter - 2 Tbsp
  • water - 2 c
  • shortening - 2 Tbsp
  • medium onion, diced - 1 item
  • salt and pepper - 1 item
  • bread cubes - 3 c
  • to 4 stalks celery, diced - 3 item
  • to 6 pork chops - 4 item

How to make baked pork chops and stuffing:

Melt shortening in 10-inch skillet. Brown pork chops. In medium mixing bowl, combine bread crumbs, celery, onion, butter, eggs, salt and pepper (as desired) together. Remove chops from skillet and pour 2 cups of water in skillet. Pour over stuffing. Place pork chops in 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Top with stuffing. Bake at 350° uncovered for 1 hour or until chops are tender.
