- lemon juice - 2 tsp
- pears as needed for each person - 1 item
- brown sugar plus 2 Tbsp - 1/4 c
How to make baked pears:
Preheat oven to 400°. Wash, pare, halve and core firm pears. Arrange pears, hollow side up, in a shallow dish. Combine 1/2 cup boiling water, 1/4 cup brown sugar and lemon juice. Pour over pears and sprinkle with 2 tablespoons brown sugar and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon. Bake, uncovered, until tender, 45 to 60 minutes.Recipe categories: Breakfast, Granola and porridge, Pears.
