Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- water - 2 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- can coconut milk - 1 oz
- food coloring optional - 1 item
- box mochiko - 1 item
- katakuri potato starch - 1 item
How to make baked mochi:
Mix dry ingredients, except potato starch. Add water and coconut milk gradually until well mixed. Add vanilla and coloring and pour into greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Cover with foil and bake in 350° oven for 1 hour. Do not underbake. In fact, overbakRecipe categories: Desserts, Asian, Japanese.
