  • sugar - 2 Tbsp
  • vinegar - 2 Tbsp
  • catsup - 2 Tbsp
  • salt and pepper - 1 item
  • small can tomatoes - 1 item
  • dry lima beans - 1 lb
  • or 10 bacon strips - 8 item

How to make baked lima beans:

Soak beans overnight. Put to boil in fresh salted water until tender. Drain. Add tomatoes, salt and pepper, catsup, sugar and vinegar. Put in a 9 x 13-inch Pyrex baking dish. Cover with strips. Bake 1 hour at 325°.
