Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- oil - 2 Tbsp
- green pepper, chopped - 1/2 c
- green onions, chopped - 1/2 c
- lentils - 2 c
- stewed or frozen tomatoes - 2 tomatoes
How to make baked lentils:
Cook lentils. When tender, place in baking dish and add tomatoes. Saute pepper and onion in oil. Add all ingredients to lentils, plus salt (if lentils were not salted during cooking). Bake at 325° for 45 minutes. Serves 4 to 6.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Casseroles, One Dish meal.
