Baked lasagna
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- water - 2 c
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- grated Parmesan cheese - 1 item
- parsley - 1 tsp
- olive oil - 1 2
- minced onion - 1 item
- lean ground beef - 1 lb
- Mozzarella cheese - 3/4 lb
- cans tomato paste - 2 oz
- lasagna noodles - 1 lb
- small cans tomato puree - 2 item
- clove garlic or garlic powder - 1 item
- Ricotta cheese or regular cottage cheese - 3/4 lb
How to make baked lasagna:
Brown ground beef in oil with minced onion, garlic and parsley. Add tomato paste, tomato puree, 2 cup water, salt and pepper. Simmer 1 1/2 hours. Add lasagna to 6-quarts boiling water and cook according to package directions. Drain. Mix eggs and cottage cheese together. Arrange lasagna in baking dish in layers, alternating with layers of sauce, Mozzarella and cottage cheese. Sprinkle top layer with grated Parmesan cheese.
