Baked custard



Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- vanilla - 1/2 1
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- slightly beaten eggs - 3 item
- skim milk, scalded - 2 c
How to make baked custard:
Combine eggs and salt. Slowly stir in slightly cooled milk, vanilla and sweetener. Set 6 (6 ounce) custard cups in shallow pan on oven rack. Pour hot water 1-inch deep around them. Pour in custard. Bake at 325° for 40 to 45 minutes or until knife inserted off center comes out clean.Recipe categories: Desserts, Puddings and mousses, Egg.
