  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • paprika - 1 item
  • Worcestershire sauce - 3/4 tsp
  • fresh parsley - 1 item
  • lemon for garnish - 1 item
  • large egg, beaten - 1 item
  • Tabasco - 1/4 tsp
  • Old Bay - 3/4 1
  • saltine crackers - 8 item
  • fresh minced parsley - 1 Tbsp
  • lump crab meat - 1 lb
  • mayonnaise, divided - 1 c
  • fresh pepper - 1/4 tsp

How to make baked crab cakes:

Remove shells from crab but don't break lumps. Combine crackers, parsley, Worcestershire, Tabasco, egg, 3/4 cup mayonnaise, Old Bay, salt and pepper and mix well. Gently fold in crab; don't overmix! Form into 6 cakes; place on foil covered cookie sheet and spoon reserved mayonnaise on each. Sprinkle with paprika. Bake 20 minutes at 350° or until golden brown. Garnish with parsley and lemon.
