Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- paprika - 1 item
- Worcestershire sauce - 3/4 tsp
- fresh parsley - 1 item
- lemon for garnish - 1 item
- large egg, beaten - 1 item
- Tabasco - 1/4 tsp
- Old Bay - 3/4 1
- saltine crackers - 8 item
- fresh minced parsley - 1 Tbsp
- lump crab meat - 1 lb
- mayonnaise, divided - 1 c
- fresh pepper - 1/4 tsp
How to make baked crab cakes:
Remove shells from crab but don't break lumps. Combine crackers, parsley, Worcestershire, Tabasco, egg, 3/4 cup mayonnaise, Old Bay, salt and pepper and mix well. Gently fold in crab; don't overmix! Form into 6 cakes; place on foil covered cookie sheet and spoon reserved mayonnaise on each. Sprinkle with paprika. Bake 20 minutes at 350° or until golden brown.
