Baked chicken in wine sauce
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- butter - 1/2 lb
- water - 1 c
- ginger - 1/4 tsp
- paprika - 1/2 tsp
- tomato juice - 1/2 c
- white pepper - 1/2 tsp
- chicken, cut up - 4 lb
- sherry - 1/2 c
- small onions, sliced - 2 item
How to make baked chicken in wine sauce:
Cook chicken and drain. Brown chicken in butter and put in baking dish. To the drippings in skillet add onions and saute until tender. Add all other ingredients and cook 1 minute. Pour mixture over chicken and bake at 400° for 1/2 hour. Baste every 15 minutes.Recipe categories: Main dish, Poultry, One Dish meal.
