Ingredients/Components
- eggs, beaten - 5 item
- chicken broth - 1 qt
- sage - 1/2 tsp
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- onion, chopped - 1 item
- buttered cracker crumbs - 1 item
- stewing chicken water to cover - 1 item
- loaf bread, cubed - 1 item
How to make baked chicken casserole:
Cook chicken until tender. Remove chicken from bones and cut meat into bite size. Mix chicken and cubed bread with rest of ingredients, except crumbs. Place in greased baking dish. Top with buttered crumbs. Bake 1 hour at 350°.Recipe categories: Main dish, Casseroles, One Dish meal.
