Baked chicken and rice
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- paprika - 1 tsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- celery salt - 1 tsp
- fryer, cut up - 1 item
- uncooked rice - 1 c
- chicken broth or hot water - 3 c
How to make baked chicken and rice:
Sprinkle chicken with salt, paprika and pepper. Brown rice and onion in butter (optional). Spread rice mixture in roaster or buttered baking dish. Add broth and celery salt. Place chicken on top of other mixture. Cover dish tightly with foil and bake at 350° for 1 hour.
