Baked caramel corn
Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- brown sugar - 2 c
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- corn syrup - 1/2 c
- margarine - 1 c
- popped popcorn - 6 qt
How to make baked caramel corn:
Melt butter. Stir in brown sugar, corn syrup and salt. Bring to boil, stirring occasionally. Boil without stirring for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in soda and vanilla. Gradually pour over popcorn. Mix well. Turn into 2 shallow pans. Bake at 250° for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Remove from oven and cool completely.
