Baked beef stew
Ingredients/Components
- salt
- flour - 1/4 c
- butter - 1 item
- hot water
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp
- celery seed - 1/4 tsp
- medium onions, sliced - 4 item
- beef cubes - 2 lb
- beef bouillon - 4 tsp
- medium potatoes, sliced thin - 6 item
How to make baked beef stew:
Mix together flour and seasonings and dredge the meat in mixture. In a large casserole with tight-fitting lid, arrange in layers the meat and vegetables. Add bouillon to hot water and then add Worcestershire sauce. Pour evenly over casserole. Dot the surface with butter.
