Ingredients/Components
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- cornstarch - 2 tsp
- water - 1/3 c
- vinegar - 2 tsp
- cooking oil - 2 Tbsp
- clove garlic, minced - 1 item
- soy sauce - 2 Tbsp
- catsup - 3/4 c
- mustard - 2 tsp
- hamburger - 1/2 lb
- small onion, chopped - 1 item
- hot cooked rice - 1 item
- dry sherry - 1 Tbsp
- onion - 1 item
- stalks celery, chopped - 2 item
- broccoli - 1 c
- bacon - 3/4 lb
- fresh mushrooms, chopped - 1 c
- whole chicken breast, cut in 1-inch pieces - 2 item
How to make baked beans:
Stir water into cornstarch; stir in soy sauce and sherry. Set aside. In covered pan cook broccoli in boiling water 3 minutes. Drain; set aside. Heat oil in skillet. Stir-fry garlic 30 seconds. Add onion; stir-fry 1 minute. Add celery; fry 2 minutes. Remove from wok. Add broccoli and mushrooms. Stir-fry 1 minute; remove all from wok. Add more oil, if necessary. Add half of chicken; fry 3 minutes or until brown. Remove. Fry remaining chicken for 3 minutes. Add all chicken and celery to skillet. Stir in soy sauce mix. Cook until thick and bubbly. Return broccoli and mushrooms to skillet. Cook 1 minute. Serve over rice.Recipe categories: Vegetables, Pork, Beans.
