Ingredients/Components

  • butter - 4 Tbsp
  • heavy cream - 2 c
  • tray of cut vegetables for dipping - 1 item
  • Italian bread sticks - 1 item
  • flat anchovy fillets, drained, rinsed and chopped - 8 item

How to make bagna cauda:

Melt butter in the casserole over low heat; add anchovies and sour cream. Bring sauce to a simmer, stirring constantly. Do not let boil. Serve at once accompanied by cold vegetables and bread sticks.

If butter and cream separate, beat with a wire whisk.
