Bacon and water chestnuts
Ingredients/Components
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- chili sauce - 1/4 c
- Miracle Whip - 1/4 c
- can water chestnuts, drained - 1 item
- bacon, cut into 3rds - 1 lb
How to make bacon and water chestnuts:
Cut water chestnuts in half and roll up in bacon. Seal them with a toothpick. Place in a casserole dish. Mix chili sauce, Miracle Whip and brown sugar together in a bowl. Pour over water chestnuts and bacon; cover and refrigerate overnight.The next day, bake at 350° for 45 minutes, until done.
