Ingredients/Components
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- yellow cake mix - 1 pkg
- pkg - 1 3/4
- eggs - 4 item
- cold water - 1/2 c
- Wesson oil - 1/2 c
- Bacardi dark rum - 1/2 c
- Mix all cake ingredients together
- water - 1/4 c
- sugar - 1 c
- rum - 1/2 c
How to make bacardi rum cake:
Sprinkle nuts over greased 10 or 12-cup Bundt pan. Mix all cake ingredients together. Pour batter over nuts. Bake 1 hour at 325°. Cool and put cake on a serving dish. Prick top and spoon glaze over top and sides evenly. Repeat until all the glaze has been absorbed.Glaze:1/4 lb. butter1/4 c. water1 c. sugar1/2 c. rum Melt butter in saucepan. Stir melted butter, water and sugar. Bring to a boil for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in rum.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Fruit.
