Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- brown sugar - 1 c
- semi-sweet chocolate chips - 1 c
- margarine - 2/3 c
- butterscotch chips - 1/2 c
- peanut butter - 1/2 c
- oatmeal - 4 c
- salted peanuts - 1 c
- Karo white syrup - 1/4 c
How to make baby ruth bars:
Melt the margarine. Mix the brown sugar, oatmeal, peanut butter, white syrup and vanilla. Add melted margarine. Mix well. Put in greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 400° for 10 minutes or until golden brown.Melt the chocolate chips, butterscotch chips and peanut butter. Add the peanuts. Pour over bars (spread lightly). Cool bars before cutting.
