Asparagus soup
Ingredients/Components
- half and half - 1 pt
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- parsley and paprika - 1 item
- pack frozen asparagus - 1 item
How to make asparagus soup:
Cut off top 1-inch of frozen asparagus and reserve. Chop up remaining asparagus stalks and place in blender. Add pint of half and half and blend on high for 1 minute. Put in saucepan, add tips of asparagus and bring to scald. Do not boil. Serve immediately with sprig of parsley and pinch of paprika.Recipe categories: Vegetables, Soups & stews, Asparagus.
