Ingredients/Components

  • pkg - 4 oz
  • milk - 1 c
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • flour - 2 Tbsp
  • margarine - 2 Tbsp
  • dash of pepper - 1 item
  • sherry - 1 Tbsp
  • jar sliced mushrooms
  • slices Swiss cheese 8 x 4-inches - 4 item
  • can Green Giant extra long green asparagus spears, drained - 15 oz

How to make asparagus roll-ups:

Heat oven to 350°. Cut ham and cheese slices in half lengthwise. Place ham on flat surface. Place cheese on top. Divide asparagus evenly in 8 parts. Place at end of each ham and cheese slice and roll up securely (jelly roll fashion). Place, seam side down, in 8-inch square baking dish. Set aside.

In medium saucepan melt margarine. Stir in flour, salt and pepper. Cook until smooth. Gradually add milk and sherry. Cook until thickened. Add mushrooms and add sauce over roll-ups; sprinkle with paprika. Bake at 350° for 15 to 20 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
