Asparagus roll-ups
Ingredients/Components
- cream cheese - 8 oz
- melted butter - 1 c
- egg, well beaten - 1 item
- Bleu cheese - 3 oz
- can asparagus, drained
- slices white bread remove crust - 25 item
How to make asparagus roll-ups:
Flatten bread with rolling pin. Combine cheeses and egg in small bowl; mix well. Spread evenly on bread, covering to edge. Lay a piece of asparagus on each slice of bread. Roll up tightly; secure with 3 toothpicks. Dip in melted butter. Put on baking sheet. Freeze. When ready to serve, thaw slightly. Slice in 3 equal pieces. Bake at 375° for 15 minutes. Serve hot.
