Asparagus ham roll-ups
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- butter or oleo - 2 Tbsp
- grated Cheddar cheese - 1/2 c
- pepper to taste - 1 item
- asparagus spears, cooked - 1 lb
- thin sliced boiled ham - 8 item
How to make asparagus ham roll-ups:
Place 3 to 4 spears of asparagus on each ham slice. Roll up and secure with toothpick. Melt butter in heavy saucepan. Stir in flour and seasonings. Cook until pasty. Add milk and stir until thickened. Add cheese and heat until cheese melts. Place ham rolls in baking dish. Pour cheese sauce over top. Bake at 350° for about 20 to 30 minutes.
