Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1/2 c
- stick butter - 1 item
- cracker crumbs
- slivered almonds - 1/3 c
- jar Kraft Old English cheese - 1 item
- cans asparagus - 2 oz
- flour for cream sauce - 2 Tbsp
How to make asparagus casserole:
Brown crumbs in 1/2 stick butter. Melt remaining half of butter in small pan over low heat. Stir in flour to make a smooth mixture. Gradually add about 1/2 cup milk. Add other ingredients; cook slowly, stirring constantly until thickened.Recipe categories: Asparagus, Main dish, Casseroles.
