  • milk
  • flour
  • butter - 3 Tbsp
  • hard-boiled eggs - 4 item
  • sliced olives - 1 item
  • cans cut asparagus - 3 item
  • buttered toast crumbs - 1 item
  • cheese, if desired - 1 item

How to make asparagus casserole:

In long Pyrex dish, put in layers asparagus, eggs and olives. Make a white sauce of the butter, flour and milk; add cheese if desired. Cover asparagus mixture with white sauce and put buttered toast crumbs on top. Bake in 350° oven for 30 or 40 minutes until brown.
