- milk
- flour
- butter - 3 Tbsp
- hard-boiled eggs - 4 item
- sliced olives - 1 item
- cans cut asparagus - 3 item
- buttered toast crumbs - 1 item
- cheese, if desired - 1 item
How to make asparagus casserole:
In long Pyrex dish, put in layers asparagus, eggs and olives. Make a white sauce of the butter, flour and milk; add cheese if desired. Cover asparagus mixture with white sauce and put buttered toast crumbs on top. Bake in 350° oven for 30 or 40 minutes until brown.Recipe categories: Asparagus, Main dish, Casseroles.
