  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 3 Tbsp
  • margarine - 2 Tbsp
  • paprika - 1 item
  • bread crumbs - 1 item
  • hard-boiled eggs, sliced - 3 item
  • sharp Cheddar cheese - 1 item
  • cans asparagus - 2 item
  • asparagus liquid - 1/2 c
  • toasted almonds or pecans - 1 item

How to make asparagus casserole:

Melt chunks of sharp cheese in liquid mixture of milk and asparagus liquid. In casserole, layer asparagus, and egg slices for 2 layers. Thicken cheese liquid with flour. Add salt and pour over casserole. Sprinkle with bread crumbs, paprika and toasted nuts.
