Asparagus casserole
Ingredients/Components
- butter or margarine - 2 Tbsp
- all-purpose flour - 1 Tbsp
- shredded Cheddar cheese - 8 oz
- hard-boiled eggs, sliced - 2 item
- soft breadcrumbs - 1/2 c
- can cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
- cans asparagus spears, drained - 2 oz
How to make asparagus casserole:
Melt butter over low heat. Add flour and stir until smooth. Add soup and cheese. Cook until cheese melts, stirring constantly. Layer half each of eggs, asparagus and sauce in lightly greased baking dish (10 x 6 x 2-inch). Repeat. Sprinkle with breadcrumbs.
