Artichoke heart casserole
Ingredients/Components
- butter - 1 item
- large onion, chopped - 1 item
- grated Romano cheese - 1/2 c
- flavored bread crumbs - 1 c
- Colavita olive oil - 1/3 c
- can artichokes in brine, drained - 1 oz
- mild Provolone cheese, shredded - 1 c
How to make artichoke heart casserole:
In a saucepan saute onion in olive oil until golden and tender. Add artichokes and stir over low heat for about 15 minutes. Stirring often, add cheeses and bread crumbs. Mix well. Pour into well greased casserole. Sprinkle with a little bread crumbs. Dot with butter. Bake at 300° for 1/2 hour.Recipe categories: Vegetables, Mushroom, Artichoke.
