Ingredients/Components
- apricot Jell-O - 2 or
- can apricot nectar - 1 item
- medium can crushed pineapple - 1 item
- buttermilk - 1 c
- small Cool Whip - 1 item
How to make apricot salad:
Mix nectar and juice from pineapple in a saucepan. Heat just until boiling and pour over Jell-O. Stir until dissolved. Cool to almost chill.Mix pineapple with buttermilk and stir in. Add Cool Whip and mix well. Pour in mold and refrigerate.
You may use 2 cups buttermilk and omit Cool Whip. Add 1/2 cup pecans (chopped), if desired.
