Apricot bars



Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- flour
- butter
- egg - 1 item
- jar apricot preserves - 1 oz
How to make apricot bars:
Crust:1 c. butter1 c. sugar1 egg2 1/4 c. flour1 c. chopped pecans Combine crust, crumbling, reserve 1 1/2 cups for top. Press remaining crust into a 9 x 12-inch greased pan. Spread apricot preserves up to 1/2-inch of outer edge. Roll out remaining crust (1 1/2 cups). Lay carefully over jam and bake for 30 to 40 minutes at 325° (until golden brown).
