Applesauce muffins
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1/2 c
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- all-purpose flour - 2 c
- stick butter - 1 item
- raisins - 1/2 c
- cloves - 1/2 tsp
- allspice - 1 tsp
- applesauce - 1/2 c
How to make applesauce muffins:
Preheat oven to 400°. Combine the butter, sugar, egg and vanilla. Mix well. Add dry ingredients, raisins, pecans and applesauce. Pour into greased muffin tins, filling cups about 2/3 full. Bake in preheated oven for 10 minutes. Yields 1 dozen muffins.Can substitute artificial sweetener so diabetics can eat them.
