  • cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
  • eggs - 2 item
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • flour
  • soda - 2 tsp
  • boiling water - 1/2 c
  • shortening - 1/2 c
  • raisins - 1 c
  • cloves - 1/2 tsp
  • allspice - 1/2 tsp
  • applesauce
  • walnuts - 1/2 c

How to make applesauce cake:

Cream shortening, sugar and eggs; add other ingredients. Put soda in boiling water. Pour into greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 350° for 45 to 60 minutes.
