Applesauce cake

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 2 c
• cinnamon - 2 tsp
• eggs - 2 item
• vanilla - 2 tsp
• salt - 1 tsp
• flour - 4 c
• nutmeg - 1 tsp
• soda - 1 tsp
• baking powder - 1 tsp
• Crisco - 2/3 c
• applesauce - 1 c
• box raisins - 1 item
• box pitted dates, chopped - 1 item
• nuts size optional - 1 pkg

How to make applesauce cake:

Beat Crisco and sugar until smooth. Alternate adding beaten eggs, vanilla and applesauce with flour, soda, salt and baking soda.

Mix in raisins, dates, nuts, cinnamon and nutmeg. Pour into greased tube pan. Bake at 350° for 90 minutes.
