Applesauce cake

Ingredients/Components

• soft butter - 1/2 c
• sugar
• eggs - 3 item
• applesauce
• nuts - 1/2 c
• chopped dates - 1 c
• flour - 2 c
• soda - 2 tsp
• cinnamon - 1 tsp
• nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
• salt - 1/2 tsp

How to make applesauce cake:

Cream butter, sugar and eggs together until fluffy. Sift dry ingredients; add dates and nuts. Add alternately with applesauce to butter and sugar mixture. Mix thoroughly and pour into well greased 9-inch tube pan and bake at 225° for 1 hour.
